Extensive Spanish Courses

Extensive courses are spread out over a period of time, generally a rate of one 2 hour lesson per week is ideal. Our experience shows that the best option for most people is to go for an intensive Spanish course because they learn rapidly, easily see their progress and begin to communicate with the native Spaniards as soon as possible. However we also offer extensive courses because in some cases they are appropriate for certain Spanish learners.

When Is An Extensive Course Ideal?

An extensive course is good when you simply don't have the time available to complete an intensive course. Additionally if you are fairly fluent already and you are communicating daily in your job, an extensive course can be a great way to come in once a week to practice grammar are ask questions.

The fact is that the Spanish people won't correct your Spanish, they will just suffer in silence. You need to come to language classes to learn the finer points of grammar and where you are offending people or being misunderstood.

If you're not yet communicating reasonably confidently in Spanish or being easily understood, then we strongly recommend you rocket yourself up to speed with an intensive Spanish course. That way you'll quickly learn enough to derive maximum benefit from your daily interactions with the Spaniards.

Extensive Courses Feature Private Classes

The extensive Spanish courses we offer are one-to-one, private lessons. You can ask whatever question is burdening you, study whatever you've been having trouble with - it's entirely up to you. Of course we have an exciting lesson plan to follow for when you don't have a specific need you'd like to meet.

Flexibility

The great thing about the extensive course is that it doesn't have to be only 2 hours a week - you effectively buy class "credit" which you can use when you like. Abla Lenguas is veritably buzzing with activity 12 hours a day and since the classes are private, just book a lesson whenever it suits you and then just turn up... off you go to your next piece of Spanish enlightenment.

Advantages of Extensive Private Spanish Lessons

We teach you Spanish at your own pace, unlike most schools which organise groups according to their level, we adapt the course to you and your needs with individual classes. You can just follow along the lesson plan, or tell the teacher that this time you'd like to focus on a certain problem you're having, and because it's a private lesson that's just fine!

Most Schools offer Groups-Only...

In a group there is always somebody who is a bit slower than the others, someone who is a bit quicker and of course, the inevitable joker. Ahh yes, remember the joker, he was kind of funny back in school when you weren't really trying to learn anything. Well at most Spanish language schools you get put into a mishmash group and you're constrained to try to learn at the pace the others allow. Not at Abla Lenguas!

Bit o' Culture

Our extensive Spanish courses in Valencia are focused on familiarizing participants with the culture and the customs of Spanish every day life, set against the background a typical old Mediterranean city. Our extensive Spanish courses in Barcelona similarly offer a great cultural experience in a more modern, internationalised city.

The course begins with a Spanish level test and every week we monitor your progress.

  • We will give you the materials, books and exercises you need to improve your Spanish.
  • We will organise free Spanish conversation classes with Spanish people who want to learn English.
  • You get personal tutoring, of course.
  • At the end of the intensive Spanish course you will receive a certificate declaring the level of your Spanish.

OK, now you made it to the end, ring us on +34 963 125 608 and ask whatever's on your heart.
