Intensive Spanish Courses

Our experience has shown that an intensive Spanish course with individual tuition is the most effective way to learn Spanish. Whilst we offer other course intensities and durations which are certainly appropriate for specific situations, for those that wish to learn Spanish in the shortest time possible and gain the most from their time in Spain, we would almost always recommend an intensive course.

So, what is so intense(!!!) about our courses?

One to One Classes

We offer genuinely intensive Spanish courses with one-to-one learning. You'll rocket ahead with individual tuition - start when you want, have your second lesson when you want, in fact have all your lessons whenever you want! We open at 9.30 in the morning and close at 9.30 at night with non-stop classes. Abla Lenguas is veritably buzzing with activity 12 hours a day so just rock up whenever it suits you.

Private Spanish Lessons

We teach you Spanish at your own pace, unlike most schools which organise groups according to their level, we adapt the course to you and your needs with individual classes. When we say that our classes are intensive we are simply referring to the speed at which you learn with the one on one approach. The intensive Spanish courses are in no way stressful - quite the opposite because you control the pace. You can just follow along the lesson plan, or tell the teacher that this time you'd like to focus on a certain problem you're having, and because it's a private lesson that's just fine!

Why A Groups-Only Approach Is Not Effective

It is very difficult to find two people with the same desire, goal, level and ability to learn languages.  More than two is just impossible. In a group there is always somebody who is a bit slower than the others, someone who is a bit quicker and of course, the inevitable joker. At most Spanish language schools you get put into a mishmash group and that's it - you're constrained to try to learn at the pace the others allow.

Native Teachers Who Understand

The majority of schools employ Spanish teachers who cannot speak a foreign language, so they cannot relate to your problems (all those problems you are having trying to learn in a group, that is!). Here at Abla Lenguas all our Spanish teachers speak at least three languages, naturally including Spanish. As they can tell you themselves the only way to learn a language is to speak it and have someone correct you, this is difficult in a class.

Our Spanish courses in Valencia are focused on familiarizing participants with the culture and the customs of Spanish every day life, set against the background a typical old Mediterranean city.

The course begins with a Spanish level test and every week we monitor your progress.

• We will give you the materials, books and exercises you need to improve your Spanish.
• We will organise free Spanish conversation classes with Spanish people who want to learn English.
• You get personal tutoring, of course.
• At the end of the intensive Spanish course you will receive a certificate declaring the level of your Spanish.
